- Availability: In Stock
- Part Number: 7277 / 7274
The Klixon 7277 and 7274 are lines of small, lightweight, low-amperage aircraft circuit breakers designed to protect airborne systems. The 7274 is an military-spec (MS 26574) device with tighter calibration limits, while the 7277 is its commercial-grade equivalent designed for applications that do not require the strict performance and approvals of the military-spec 7274. Both series are trip-free and available in a range of amperage ratings from 0.5 to 20 amps.
They feature an indicating reset button and are supplied with mounting and connecting hardware.
7277-2 or 7274-2 is commonly used in GA applications, the actuator length is approx 0.1 inch in working mode and pops out to 0.2 inch when tripped. some helicopters require a longer actuator to clear illuminated over-panels.
7274-4 is the same dimensions, but has a pair of aux switch contacts that can be wired in series to tigger a caution light if a breaker trips.
7274-11 has the terminals orientated 45° away from the centreline instead of inwards.
We carry most current ratings of the -2 version in stock.
