Maintenance

 

South Pacific Avionics are specialists in avionics maintenance.

We can handle all maintenance tasks from lamp replacement to complex system repairs.  

All maintenance is carried out under our Part145 certificate so you can rest assured that your aircraft is being looked after by professionals.  Part 145 requirements include:

  • All tools and test equipment must be calibrated and traceable
  • All documentation and technical data must be controlled and current
  • All personnel involved in the job must be trained and authorised

a Loose Leaf Logbook Entry (LBE or LLBE).  We prefer to issue it in digital for so it doesn't get lost or damaged.  Your maintenance controller, will print this out and paste it into your logbook on the appropriate page.

If the maintenance included a software update, you may get a new flight manual supplement (FMS) to place in the flight manual and will probably meed your software management log updated (or created).

If the maintenance involved changing a component for a different model, new may need a new weight and balance (Form 2173) or Radio Equipment List (Form 2129) or need the Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) updated.

Our facility receives regular CAA Audits, Customer Audits and Internal Audits to ensure we comply with all aspects of CAA Rule Part 145 and Part 43.  Why would you tryust your aircraft maintenance, not to mention your life, to someone who chooses to operate outside of this controlled environment.

Paperwork is a larger part of maintenance than many people realise.  At the completion of the job, our team will ensure that all the paperwork is delivered promptly.  This usually includes:
